The customer-service-focused areas of the new store are coming together. Below, you can see the roof and windows put in place in the check-out space. Compare those photos to the ones from a month ago, when the structure was in its earliest form. The space will provide more natural light and climate control than the current check-out area. To be sure, the cashiers will not miss that winter chill. The lone cabinet set in the giant warehouse, on the right, will be the customer service desk. Second Use will have a dedicated staff member to say hello when customers walk in, answer questions about the shopping process, take phone calls, and streamline general behind-the-scenes operations.
